Located within easy walking distance of the market town of Masham, our peaceful park offers touring pitches, camping, cosy cabins and self-catering cottages, making it an ideal place to discover everything Yorkshire has to offer.
We are small family-run Touring/Camping site at the foot of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
We are located one mile East from the centre of Masham on the main A6108 road at the N. E. edge of Nidderdale, an AONB, in tranquil, tree strewn countryside.

A Holiday Park With A Story To Tell
Touring Caravan, Motorhome & Camping Pitches
Old Station Holiday Park offers 46 spacious touring pitches, all with electric hook-up, providing a comfortable base for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans. A selection of hardstanding pitches is available for motorhomes and campervans, making them ideal in all weather conditions.
For campers, we also have 8 adult-only tent pitches, designed for tents up to 6 metres x 4 metres. Four of these pitches include electric hook-up, so if you require electricity, we recommend booking well in advance as availability is limited.
If you’re new to caravanning or would simply like an easier arrival, Park Assist is available on request to help guide your caravan safely onto your pitch.
For guests who wish to enjoy regular visits throughout the season, seasonal pitches are occasionally available. Please contact us directly for current availability and further information.
Our Facilities
Our centrally located, modern heated shower and toilet block is maintained to a high standard, providing clean, comfortable facilities throughout your stay. Amenities include spacious showers and toilets, hairdryers, shaver points and accessible facilities for disabled guests.
A dedicated laundrette with washing and drying facilities is available on site, while the adjacent washing-up area includes a small freezer for the convenience of our touring and camping guests.
Whether you’re staying for one night or a longer holiday, our well-maintained facilities are designed to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
On Site Cafe
Our on-site café is open throughout the week (excluding Mondays), serving a selection of freshly prepared homemade breakfasts, lunches, light meals, sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks.
Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast before a day exploring North Yorkshire, a light lunch or simply a coffee and homemade cake, the café provides a convenient place to relax during your stay.
If you prefer to eat out, the centre of Masham is only a short walk from the park. The town offers a choice of traditional pubs, cafés and restaurants, many serving locally sourced produce and Yorkshire favourites, along with a selection of locally brewed ales from Masham’s famous breweries.
Convenience
Our reception shop stocks a range of everyday essentials and those easily forgotten items that can make your stay more comfortable, including basic toiletries, snacks, drinks and camping necessities. We also stock Calor Gas cylinders, making it easy to replace an empty bottle without leaving the park.
For a wider choice of shopping, the centre of Masham is just a short walk away. The town is home to a Co-op convenience store, petrol station, independent shops, bakeries, butchers and gift shops, along with the popular Masham Market, held every Wednesday, Saturday and Bank Holiday, where you’ll find local produce, crafts and goods from Yorkshire traders.

BBQ'S
There is not a specific picnic or BBQ area but we do have BBQ stands available to avoid scorching the grass. We also sell reasonably priced, locally made lumpwood charcoal.

Things to do
Location
Old Station Holiday Park is ideally placed for exploring Masham and the surrounding Yorkshire countryside. A number of scenic walks, ranging from around 2 to 8 miles, start directly from the park, with route maps available from reception.
We’re within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales, Fountains Abbey, Ripon, Richmond, Northallerton and Thirsk, as well as popular attractions including Jervaulx Abbey, Thorpe Perrow Arboretum, Hackfall Woods and the Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park.
Masham’s excellent children’s play area is less than half a mile away, while the town itself offers welcoming pubs, cafés, independent shops and places to enjoy a meal or a relaxing drink after a day of exploring.
Important Information
Things you need to know
Due to incoming and outgoing traffic, we regret that children are not permitted to ride their bicycles or scooters on the park roads. for their own safety. There is a very good play area on the edge of Masham, within a half mile.
We regret to confirm that we do not accept Stag or Hen party or other celebratory gatherings due to past disturbance, compromising the enjoyment of the quiet park by others.
WiFi is available for a small fee, please enquire at the shop or reception.
