RESPONSIBILITY
The person making the booking is responsible for all members of their party; please ensure they have all read these conditions and agree to abide by them during their stay with us. Maximum stay on the park is 21 days in any one period.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
All bookings will be confirmed and secured when a deposit has been received and confirmed by the park; for the Holiday Cottages and Glamping Cabins the deposit is £100.00, for the Tourers and tents it is £25.00. Full payment is due not later than 7 days before arrival. Failure to make the final payment by the due date will result in the loss of your deposit and the cancellation of your booking. Any cancellation made prior to the 7 day deadline will result in the loss of the deposit. On Bank holidays, for caravans, motor homes, glamping cabins and shepherd’s hut there is a minimum stay of 3 nights and during the weekends from May to October it is 2 nights. For the holiday cottages it is 3, 5 or 7 nights only.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
The owners of the park reserve the right to refuse a booking without explanation and to terminate that booking at anytime without refund if , in their opinion, the rules of the park have been broken or ignored. Such examples are damage to property, excessive noise (shouting or loud music) or annoyance after 10.30pm and unreasonable behaviour.
NON AVAILABILITY
If for any reason your booking is not available, the owners are only liable to refund the amount already received by them.
SITE LICENCE
All visitors must comply with the site licence conditions as shown in reception. The owners do not accept any liability for lost, damaged or stolen property (including cars, caravans, bicycles etc.) while in the park.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
Holiday cottages and Glamping cabins – Arrival after 2.30pm, departures by 10.30am. Tourers and tents – Arrival after 1.00pm, departure by 11.00am. On arrival please report to reception before entering the park. Your cottage/glamping cabin or pitch will be allocated to you.
CHILDREN
All children must be looked after by their parents or guardians and are not allowed to roam freely or ride bicycles throughout the park; there is always moving traffic coming in and out. There is a speed restriction of 5 MPH for all vehicles. Children under 10 must be supervised in the showers and toilets.
GAMES AND ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
The park does not have a play area for ballgames, bicycles, scooters or skateboards. It does not allow paddling pools, gazebos, air rifles, BB guns, drones or powered toys. There is a park in nearby Masham. Awnings, day and pup tents are permitted at the discretion of the owners and by prior booking.
BBQs AND FIRES
BBQs are permitted but must be raised above the ground to avoid scorching the grass. BBQ stands are available at reception. Open fires are prohibited as they pose a serious risk to tourers and tents. DOGS Well behaved dogs are welcome in the touring park area and some of the glamping cabins; the dog must be on a short lead while in the park and cannot be left alone during the day. A dog relief walk is provided so please do not allow the dog to foul the car park, touring or tent area. We reserve the right to terminate a booking if the dog is not kept under control and abiding by the conditions of entry.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
No refunds will be given for early departure due to inclement weather
