We are small family-run Touring/Camping site at the foot of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

We are located one mile East from the centre of Masham on the main A6108 road at the N. E. edge of Nidderdale, an AONB, in tranquil, tree strewn countryside.

About us

We are on the former site of the town’s Old Railway Station, the history of which can be seen displayed in our Reception building, illustrating the illustrious past, and present subsequent sympathetic transformation. We have been open for 20 years, and have endeavoured retain the tranquillity and integrity of the site. Situated in the stunning Ure valley, we are surrounded by beautiful natural countryside and are home to much wildlife, including hedgehogs, squirrels, rabbits, pheasant, partridge, and much more.

What we Offer

We have 46 Touring Pitches all with electric hook up including some hardstanding pitches for motorhomes and campervans. We also have 8 tent pitches for adults only (limited to within 6 X 4 metres) but only 4 have electric hook ups (pre-booking is essential). Park assist for your caravan is available on request. Seasonal pitches are also occasionally available.

Our Facilities

We have a modern heated shower and toilet block which is central to the site, with hairdryers and shaver points. We also have accessible facilities, and a laundrette with washer and dryer, and small freezer are supplied for the use of our customers, in the wash up area.

On Site Cafe

There is a Café on site serving meals during the day, except Monday. Our onsite café offers a range of home made food, drinks and beverages. If you would prefer to take a stroll and go out for food then we have nearby pubs that also serve delicious food and drinks.

Convenience

Onsite Shop offering limited basic forgotten items like toiletries for your convenience. Masham has great shops for all your needs including a Co-op Convenience store, Garage, and great small Country Market on Wednesday, Saturday and bank Holidays. We also stock Calor Gas cyllinders.

What We Offer

BBQ'S

There is not a specific picnic or BBQ area but we do have BBQ stands available to avoid scorching the grass. We also sell reasonably priced, locally made lumpwood charcoal.

What a lovely place to stay spotlessly clean shower and toilet block .nice helpful staff we stayed in the BBQ huts it was a great experience i will be going back with my caravan next year .thanks to the old station holiday park

We loved it here, and will def be coming back next time we're in Yorkshire. (A small overnight electric car charger would be an outstanding addition to the great features of the site - but as charging was available in several National Park car parks this was not actually an issue during day trips for us.)

An excellent base to explore the area. This quiet, peaceful site on the outskirts of Masham has everything you need. A great location, close to the town centre and within driving distance of all this beautiful county has to offer. The accomodation on offer ranges from tent pitches to fab wooden barbecue huts and a shepherds hut. All are maintained to a high standard as is the toilet block. Top marks for the toilet block, by the way. The little cafe and shop, and the lovely people who run the place ensure that , however long you stay, you are welcome and looked after.

Old station bistro masham is fantastic. Delicious ? food, delicious breakfast and Sunday lunch. Volker the owner and his wife Sue very friendly polite will definitely return ? All homemade cooked fresh ?

First stay at Old Station and definitely won't be our last. It is a fabulous site, pitches are a good size and the shwer block and amenities are well kept. All the team are very friendly and helpful.
Its a short walk to Masham with Theakstones brewery bring an added bonus.
The food in the cafe was lovely and well priced, definitely worth a visit.

Had a great weekend here didn't try the on site cafe but the food smelled terrific. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any enquiries. Plenty of rabbits running around which kept my 2 cocker spaniels entertained even though they were tied up.
Masham village is a lovely place to stay with some beautiful walks and refreshment establishments ( pubs mainly in my case ).

Our open dates are from 1st March – 9th November 2026

Things to do

Location

There are a number of beautiful walks of varied length from 2 miles to 8 are accessible from the site, and maps are also available from reception.

We are within easy access of the Yorkshire Dales, Fountains Abbey, Ripon Richmond, Northalleton, and Thirsk, along with Jervaulx Abbey, Thorpe Perrow Arboretum, Hackfall Woods and Himalayan Gardens

There is a very good play area on the edge of Masham, within a half mile.

With Local pubs to dine and enjoy a relaxing drink.

Things you need to know

Due to incoming and outgoing traffic, we regret that children are not permitted to ride their bicycles or scooters on the park roads. for their own safety. There is a very good play area on the edge of Masham, within a half mile.

We regret to confirm that we do not accept Stag or Hen party or other celebratory gatherings due to past disturbance, compromising the enjoyment of the quiet park by others.

WiFi is available for a small fee, please enquire at the shop or reception.
